Port Kaprije

The port Kaprije is known to all sailors because it provides good protection from the winds.

Port of St. Peter (Luka Kaprije) is the main and largest bay on the island where the coastal part of the Kaprije settlement is located. There is a ferry dock and moorings in it. The deepest point is about 15 meters. Geographical altitude: 43° 41.3' N / Geographical latitude: 15° 42.8' E It is located on the southwestern part of the island. It has a 70 m long concrete-stone pier operational shore. An electrically powered port light (B. Bl. 3s, 6m, 3M, white) is installed at the head of the concrete-stone pier-operable shore. In the extension of the above-mentioned coast, a 100 m long concrete coast was built on both sides for the mooring of boats. The northern side of the jetty – the mooring of ships for the transport of passengers in regular shipping. Exceptionally, while there is no regular liner, it is possible to moor other ships and boats for a limited time. South side of the jetty - mooring of yachts, speedboats and other ships and boats.
